· Driving from Porto Novo into Paul Valley was unreal. Every turn felt like a postcard. Fontainhas was the highlight—photos don’t do it justice. Roads are narrow but manageable if you’re careful. One of the most beautiful places I’ve ever driven.
· Santo Antão feels untouched. We loved Ponta do Sol and the hikes around Paul. Very quiet, very real. Not many tourists, which is great, but you need to plan fuel and food in advance.
