Ferrari's museums benefit from advance booking in summer. Pagani factory tours must be booked well ahead and cost around €70. Lamborghini's museum is generally walk-in.

Where To Stop
Recommended Stops in Motor Valley
Five stops through the world's most concentrated supercar district.

Enzo Ferrari Museum, Modena
A striking yellow aluminium gallery wraps around the house where Enzo Ferrari was born. Inside: early racing cars, Formula 1 legends and immersive simulators. The modern architecture alone is worth the stop.

Ferrari Museum, Maranello
The Prancing Horse's main museum displays current F1 cars alongside historic road models, with driving simulators and a Formula 1 pit-stop experience. The factory gates across the road add to the atmosphere. Allow two hours.

Pagani Automobili, San Cesario
Pagani's factory tour reveals hypercars being hand-assembled in near-surgical conditions. Every carbon-fibre panel, titanium bolt and leather interior is fitted by hand. Book well in advance; this is a working factory, not just a showroom.

Lamborghini Museum, Sant'Agata Bolognese
Ferruccio Lamborghini's story unfolds through a collection of iconic models from the original 350 GT to the latest Huracán. The museum is compact, personal and housed next to the production line.

Modena Cathedral & Piazza Grande (UNESCO)
Back in Modena, the Romanesque cathedral and its leaning Ghirlandina tower form a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Piazza Grande's cafes are the perfect place to end the day with an espresso and reflect on the extraordinary machines produced in this unassuming corner of Italy.

Motor Valley FAQs
Several companies around Maranello offer track experiences in Ferraris and Lamborghinis. These are separate from the museum visits and range from €100 to €500+ depending on the car and laps.
Absolutely. The cars captivate all ages, the simulators at Ferrari are designed for families, and the flat driving between stops is easy.
About 90 minutes per museum is comfortable. Allow the full day for three museums plus the Pagani factory if booked.
Weekdays are less crowded at all three museums. The Pagani factory only runs tours on working days. Avoid Italian public holidays when museums may close or overflow.
